I’m so, so grateful I took Allie’s harmony class. I learned an incredible amount—not just about creating harmonies, but about actually understanding how they work: the different structures, how to build and layer them, how to listen for different possibilities, how chords inform the choices you can make, and all of the little steps that go into creating something that feels really intentional.

What I loved was that it was such a great combination of technical practice and understanding both the science and art behind what’s happening. I came away with actual tools and structures I can use, but also with a much more expansive sense of what’s possible creatively. I’ve applied what I learned to basically every song and production I’ve worked on since, and I still find myself going back to things Allie taught us.

And obviously, the secret sauce is Allie. She’s such a gifted artist and producer herself, and she brings that perspective to everything she teaches. She’s incredibly kind, patient, encouraging, and perceptive, and she creates an environment where you can experiment, ask questions, try things, and really develop your own instincts rather than feeling like there’s one “right” way to do it.

I got so much out of this class and am incredibly grateful for everything I learned. Truly a must-do for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of harmony and bring more possibility, intention, and creativity into their music.
